I can't fathom doing business this way, but hey I might be in the minority.

Aren't you the guy who wanted to flip a used piece of gum into a '52 Topps Mantle?

(I might have a detail or two wrong on that statement... )

The irony here would be someone seeing all the watchers and grabs it before its too late.

I just made it 46.

But this does highlight something I thought a while regarding "watching" - I almost never buy items I am watching, but rather just watch them to see if they sell, when, and for how much (like a comp). Anyone else do this/feel this way? If so, # watchers means very little, other than maybe people are interest (for whatever personal reasons) to see if the seller gets his/her price.

Also, aren't both listings incorrect? They list it as a season pass, but it says right on it "Press" leading me to believe it is a press pass.

With an auction house, I only watch the items that I'm curious about but have no intention of bidding on them.

But with eBay I watch items on which I plan to make a snipe bid. But if the item is a BIN, I'm just watching to see if it sells. If I really wanted it I would just buy it outright.

I have noticed this in the little selling I do now. More items sell with little or no watchers than items I have 10+ watchers.

I don't buy much on eBay anymore, when I do it is about half I am going to bid and half I just want to see if it sells/ending price.

Absolutely. I'm watching this pass too, but have zero interest in buying it. A majority of my watches are just curiosity. If I want something I'll either put in a bid, bin or snipe.
