![]() ![]() This 1947 version of the team RPPC is even tougher to find than the 1946 version, which is nearly impossible. I have seen three examples of the 1946 Peoria Red Wings RPPC become available over the past few years (I bought two of them). This was the first 1947 team RPPC that I have ever seen. Had no idea it even existed. Tom C |

Here's a 1944 Real Photo Postcard of the Cincinnati-Indianapolis Clowns Baseball Team
Includes Richard "King Tut" King (front row, first player on left), Alex Radcliffe (top row, fourth player from left) & McKinley "Bunny" Downs (pictured far right in suit) "To Bob from Henry L. Merchant" & "Cin & Ind Clowns" written in the hand of Clowns left fielder Henry Lewis "Speed" Merchant I think Merchant is the player on the far right of the second row (hands on knees) but I don't know for sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Jeff

Stumbled across this at a postcard show today:
![]() I've not seen any others and online all I could find were two auctions (REA and Ryan's) for the baseball version. I don't know if those Marines are USMC (Gitmo perhaps) or Cuban. Regardless, it is an ad for a tobacco card set, which definitely rocks IMHO.

Great find Adam and Jeff. Slowly but surely I'm getting this Sporting Life set near to completion. Would love to find another Detroit team to go along with this St. Louis one.
