Absolutely. This is a market place to some and a museum to some and both to others.
I would suggest perhaps that the seller step back and give some more thought to what he's doing. If you accumulate hundreds of things (maybe thousands?) in a manic whirlwind and then all of a sudden have to sell all of them in a fire sale, many presumably at a loss . . . well, might be time to take a few deep breaths and ease off the throttle a bid. When I started collecting I did something very similar. Overpaid for a lot of cards out of some misguided belief that I needed to move really fast. Now realize it cost me a lot of money.
