Nice jersey. I don't recall ever seeing pics of the Yankees wearing this jersey. Can you tell me what years they wore it? Very interested to know.

No, it's not a gamer ...it has nothing to do with the Yankees. It's just a jersey from a local team from probably the late '30s. I just like it because it says Yanks. I get a lot of stares and questions when I wear it to the Stadium.

I once wore it to Fenway, and a couple people thought it was the 'Boston Yanks' (football team).

You know the license plate idea never occurred to me but it sure could have been. Its roughly the size of a license plate. Its definitely homemade and a heavy painted enamel.

The four holes are what gave me that thought. It may be homemade but it looks like whoever did it had some sign painting type talent.
