Good news at the mailbox today, as the last needed card for my 1952 Bowman Large football set arrived!
#29 Hugh McElhenny RC "books" for $250 in NM condition. This eBay listing was BIN $29.95 or best offer. So I offered $24 and the seller accepted. Then I bought nine other '52 Large cards to upgrade or restock my doubles box, and the seller shipped all my stuff for three bucks! Pro and College HOF member, Hugh is related to the Mcllhenny family from Louisiana, the makers of Tabasco Sauce. I DID IT!
