Default One White Elephant down....................
Never thought I'd be able to add an unopened, properly dated Old Mill slide pack, to my collection. Many thanks to a long-time pack collector (and member of this board), who contacted me after uncovering what is perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime "find" of several of these packs, along with at least a portion of the carton they came in! If you're wondering about the "overstamp," it is factory info only. Now, if only I could find a reliable TPG to certify and slab this baby:

Cool! Maybe a T206 Cobb in there? T210 Jackson? What could have come in it?

That is just amazing! Is there way to tell if a card is in there?

Over the years, some have suggested that an xray or MRI might reveal the contents of these packs--I'm not really sure about that. There is, of course, another method to "find out if a card is in there," but that of course is NOT going to happen. Thank you all for the positive comments, both here and via pm's.

Thanks Dan. Now I'm looking at 1955 Topps Robinsons. Would love a 52 obviously. I can feel the sickness rising.

Thought about doing a Jackie Robinson master set but a) probably can't afford it and b) I don't know what the hell a master set is. Thought about trading some Jackie Robinson photos for cards, but figured that takes a unique collector crossover.
