e107s are awesome.
The 150 players ad back is slightly more desirable to people who want a type and don't care whose on the front. There are a few set collectors out there who just care about the front. The overprint back, OP, is pictured about by Pete. 39 of these exist as they all came a single find as far as I know and yes, they are much more desirable for type collectors, back collectors and price is dictated by the quality of the stamp. There are also type IIs, these more than likely were cut from an advertising piece is the theory as they are all handcut, different stock and only show the same 8 players IIRC. Philadelphia players are the least desirable with any back as their pops are higher d/t the BW being located in Philly. Last edited by rainier2004; 05-14-2017 at 09:19 AM. |
