I didn't have any successful snipes, but I did get Gavelsnipe notices on the ones where I was outbid.

last night i had 5 snipes that did NOT go off. so you are not alone.

has anyone subsequently had a successful snipe go off? in other words, has the problem fixed itself?

Yes. I had 4 misfires Tuesday and Wednesday, all of which would have beaten the winning bid (groan). However, my bids Thursday and Friday were successfully executed. For the record, I have used Gavelsnipe for many years without a single problem.

I just sat and watched an auction I was sniping with Gavelsnipe go off. I manually sniped it and thankfully won it. The gavelsnipe I set did NOT go off.

What is wrong with that company? Why are they not notifying customers when they are having issues???

I had a bid on Gavelsnipe not go off on Tuesday and haven't tried since. I had one other one not go off a few months ago and their explanation was that ebay had asked for a captcha during the bidding process so my snipe didn't go off. In both cases my snipe disappeared entirely from Gavelsnipe.
