As a devoted NY Ranger fan since Original Six days I'd really like to be optimistic about their chances against the Canadiens, but feel they've lost too many important pieces over the last 2 years to go very far in this years playoffs.
Their season record is nothing to apologize for, but the ice starts to tilt a little more now. An unconscious Lundqvist (if it's still there) will be needed I fear. On the topic of hockey, don't know how others feel, but I would really appreciate the powers that be reinstituting the home white jersey. Been bugging me for years. Think Tortorella might have a surprise up his sleeve. I don't see Columbus going quietly.
