Well Dan, that must be the first time you've done anything legally. This will be the first time I'll be at the show (Friday) in quite a while. Looking forward to chatting.

Went to the show today. Great show, with a healthy mix of vintage and new cards, including some very high end RCs. Taking the kids tmrw, tons for them as well. There is a great vibe in the air (even though the weather sucks and its rainy) and as promised, I got in for free with my Net54 receipt.
Not an add, but I went to the REA booth -- holy crap!!! Man, its unreal to see so many amazing and rare cards/things all in one place (and not in a museum). I read the catalog is out online. Go see it in person, man oh man. And Memory Lane and Huggins & Scott were there two. ML has some really impressive high grade, primo stuff (a Mikan RC in an SGC 96...). Huggins has some really great stuff too. Bottom line, the auctions this spring are unreal (seems its time to be a seller!) Anyway, great show and I encourage anyone within 3 hrs of Washington DC to get there this weekend -- well worth it. |

I went today (and got in for free as offered above for N54 members). Will be going back tomorrow with my son. Very good show.

I was there Friday too. I noticed there seems like there were significant more people walking the show floor than in previous Fridays of this show. I don't know if it's because the weather was lousy or what, but there were a lot more. It seems like there were less dealers too, so maybe it was the same number of customers as always, but they were walking a smaller physical space. I don't know.
There was a mix of vintage cards, the shiny stuff, and a little memorabilia too, so there was something for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised to see some sellers that do not usually do this show (such as Rich Altman of Hollywood Collectibles, OldFootball.com, etc,...). As mentioned, REA, Memory Lane, and Huggins & Scott had tables. I did not see Heritage, Goodwin, Love of the Game, or any other auction house. All in all, a great time as always !!! I went Friday with my wife and son. Seemed to be more vintage than normal.
