Kevin and Jim I love the Hot Springs photos! I have mentioned before that these were taken at Majestic Field on the south end of the trolley line here in Hot Springs.
At the north end were Whittington Park (also called Ban Johnson Field) and Fogel Field. At the peak of Spring Training in 1911 there were eleven teams here plus over 100 other players. Majestic Field is still a field sitting next to the Boys & Girls Club and the great part of the story is that house still sits atop the hill across the street. It is now painted white with bright red and blue trim.
