Actually, it says other stuff, including what looks like, 1956. I think this is probably a graduation trophy from Little League, or some sort of league championship trophy. 1956 is fairly early for Little League, i believe, but there must be tons of similar trophies. I have no idea of value.

This is higher quality than most Little League Trophies of the day. Nice high quality wood and a sturdier figural portion than most. Too bad the bat broke off, but I do like the great mid-century style it has.

Nice pickup for the $$

Thanks Mark! What kind of value would you put on it if you don't mind my asking. I am not familiar with trophies.

A trophy collector is not going to want a trophy that is broken unless it is rare or highly collectible. This trophy is neither. It is probably worth what you paid or a little less.

Ok well Mark and Ronnie are on completely different ends of the spectrum. Anyone for the tie breaker?

I like it. The King of the Amateur Repair (me) would be figuring what to do with that bat...

It's a shame the bat is broken! That does hurt it quite a bit. It's not a home run, but I think you did fine for $18. Do you have it in hand? How heavy is it?

I'll have it in hand in a few days and let you know. I wanna try to figure out the bat situation and maybe start a little collections. If anyone likes it I'm open for a trade for a Jackie stub or program lol
