That's a great looking 6, one corner a little soft but the centering is great. Wonder what kept it from a 7..............

This was the first Gehrig card I ever got, in 1973. I now have another one:

In "The Goonies" (1985) this is also the card that was found with Chester Copperpot's remains by the kids at the start of One-Eyed Willie's tunnel. Unfortunately it doesn't add up, as the character was supposed to have gone missing in 1935. Guess Stephen Spielberg wasn't a card collector...

I thought it was 1934 goudey that is in the wallet.

I haven't seen it in many years, but I am pretty sure the card used in the movie that one of the kids holds up for a split second is the '73 Topps Gehrig. It's possible I'm wrong. But I remember thinking that as a kid 25-30 years ago.
