I believe the Subway discs were blank backed. I've had a few over the years but have never obtained or seen either of the two Dodgers (Valenzuela/Guerrero) that some checklists claim exist.

Yes, the Subway discs are blank backed...I have the same color versions of the Subway Ripken discs as the Thom McAn ones noted above.

Technically, these weren't even issued. They were found in a warehouse in the Baltimore area. I worked in an LCS that sold a lot of oddball in SCD and was contacted and bought some sets from the original seller. The LCS closed around April 1987 so I know it was before that. I believe we advertised them in SCD around then.
