Secret Santa Holiday Exchange (5th Annual) 2016

Did everyone get their gift? If not please post that you did not receive it. Last year we had 1 person not send. Leon banned that member and I sent the member that did not get their gift a gift.

Hopefully with this list Sean can find out if the gift is on the way and the USPS is just slow or if the member did not send anything out. Hopefully Leon will ban any member that did not send anything out. If it is found that your SS did not send a gift I will happily send you out something. Merry Christmas everyone.

I will parse the lists tomorrow and inquire with everyone that either didn't send or didn't receive and work with members to verify tracking information and/or receipt of shipment.

Banning is always a last resort. But if a member were to completely ignore their commitment then someone needs to convince us (the collective board) why that person needs to be a member? That being said, there are a lot of extraordinary issues which can come up. If they are dealt with they can usually be overcome. I am confident everything will end up fine with this one. Thanks again to Sean for organizing it.

I agree Leon, there could be several good reasons for someone not getting one out. I was more referring to idiots like the guy last year who used it to get free cards.

Ken our presents was to make up for the wait. Now if several others chime in with I sent him one also, he made out like a bandit.

On a positive note, I opened mine this morning, and before I opened it I said I could use a Marquard T206 to get my HOF set going, and it was a T206 Marquard portrait! thanks secret Santa!

So excited to see all of the posts with Santa pickups! I totally understand that the UsPs gets swamped during Christmas, so I find it reasonable for me to wait until the 28th of December before taking any futher action in regards to SS. Merry Christmas, all! A big shout out to Sean for hosting such a cool event!

Agree totally. For me it was more about giving than recieving so I loved sending the extra gift. I really love the gift exchange as you neve know what you will receive. So much fun and so glad Sean takes the time to do this every year. Merry Christmas to all.
