2017 Collecting Goals
I'm not sure what my 2016 collecting goals were, but I'd bet that I asked myself to not spend too much money on cardboard this year...if so, I failed miserably.
For 2017, I'd like to accomplish the following:
- Obtain a 1911 Helmar Stamps Cy Young and get to 95% complete with the set - currently 87.2% complete
- Obtain two+ more tough (< 10 examples) HOF rookie/pre-rookie cabinets or cards
- Resist the tempatation to pick up common (i.e. Topps) rookies or add additional copies of cards I already have
- Add another color tint to my 1926-29 Postcard Back Exhibits Chuck Klein run
- Update my imageevent website with scans of all my 2016/2017 acquisitions
- Update my imageevent website with a section on JD McCarthy Postcards
- Finish selling off my Rickey Henderson card/memorabilia collection as well as cards that no longer fit my collecting interests
- Do not add any new baseball card projects
