Pardon my temerity,
but that Bastian looks okay to me. It's a "diamond cut" for sure, but the top and bottom sides are parallel and the corners look okay; that's why I'd think that it's untrimmed. It might be slightly short, but not unusually so. Just my opinion on it. |

Thanks, Ted, I think REA sent it in for grading and actually I got a better deal on it because it was graded "Auth" instead of a number grade. I guess I'm going to do a Jeff Sweeney back run now

DITTO....for all three "Auth" graded cards I posted to start this thread. Six years ago, I acquired the AB 460 Jennings for less than $100. I was only the 4th bidder on ebay for it. It's like you said....I got a good deal on it since it didn't have a numerical grade. I acquired the Plank with a very reasonable cash/trade deal because it's an "A". The red Cobb/SOVEREIGN 460 card is extremely rare (less than 6 known); and, I acquired it for a very fair price....again, because it is an "A". TED Z . |
