There are two easy ways to tell if you have an original or reprint. First - like Jason said look inside to see if there is subscription card on the table of contents page. If there is, it should be authentic. Secondly, on page one there is an add at the bottom of the page of a guy with a gas pump. In the original, you can read the writing on the gas pump. In the reprint, you can't. The words are fuzzy. Hope this helps.

The lack of a subscription card does not, in and of itself, mean the copy is a reprint. It's possible an original purchaser may have liked the magazine and removed the card to subscribe.
