Don't know who I'm rooting for, but yowza!! The last time the team won the World Series was in 1908. Not only Alaska and Hawaii, but New Mexico and Arizona weren’t even states yet. The outset of World War I was still years away. It would take another 2 decades for sliced bread to be invented. Not only hadn’t it sunk, but they didn’t even start building the Titanic yet. Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, wasn’t even a glint in his parents’ eyes until over 22 years later. And Teddy Roosevelt - you know the giant head carved into stone on Mt. Rushmore for seemingly an eternity - was the frickin’ president!!!!

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
