Just picked up this Wheat Sporting Life. I have been collecting Zach for over 30 years had never seen this piece before. Very happy to pick this up. Oops meant to put this in the Oct memorabilia section.

 ...The Chuck Klein must be a short print from the 1934 ?All-Star game weekend . Unique I think , as there is no border ; The Foxx is a new pick-up , while the Al Sheehan has been one of my white whales since I began shaving.... ..

I have been looking for an HA Johnson card as well as for my first signed pre-war card, so this seemed like the perfect card to pick up. Also cool: it is likely the only signed card from that issue and Mr. Jacobson signed using his fun nickname.
