Bang the Drum Slowly. I just love the era, the uniforms with sleeves underneath, batting helmets with no flaps, the earlier color footage and relatively poor focus, etc.

"Safe at Home!"
A boy sneaks into Yankees spring training camp in the early 60s to meet his heroes Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. I was 5 when that movie came out and I wanted to be that kid!!! |

Trouble With The Curve, with Field of Dreams a very close second, and Major League a distant third.

A League of Their Own is my favorite baseball movie. So many great quotes and great characters. In the ending scenes filmed at Doubleday Field, you can see the back of my garage.

Sandlot : it's has a ton of baseball cards in it . Post cards on the cereal box. Babe Ruth takes the Hank Aaron rookie . Cards in the tree house etc . It's also funny and a good story .
Field of dreams League of thier own Honorable mention ! Not a baseball movie but blast from the past has some great cards in it and he uses them as cash .

Pride of the Yankees has been on television the longest & The Jackie Robinson Story. It's unusual that the ball player in the movie plays the part.
