I am sure that the ring is authentic and it is stunning for the right collector, but if you are still in contact with Tolan, you might want him to fix the COA. The 1984 Padres lost to the Detroit Tigers, not the New York Yankees.
Tolan was a pretty awesome player in his own right for the early 70s Reds.

That should have been my ring! LOL
I worked for the Cubs in 1984 and we lost to the Padres. All these years later it still hurts especially knowing we were due to have home field advantage but had it taken away because of the lack of lights. Awesome ring and good luck with the sale!
