Great stuff Richard! Looking forward to remaining pricing on the BST post!
I'll keep this thread going with a few that I don't think I've posted. They now have a new space, so a few of these may have been shown way back when... 1. Cubs 2. Various Oversized 3. Reds 4. Assorted World Series |

Wow! I've gotta think you have the world's best collection of pre-1940s pennants.

I agree Mark's collection is second to none. Not only is there a large number of great pennants, but the condition is amazing.

Mark:
bee-yootiful pennants as always, but that framed Wrigley's ad (which kinda disappears when shown in your post) is outstanding as well...nice stuff. DS |

Awesome display Mark! That vertical blue Cubs pennant is my favorite.

Every time I feel proud of my little collection, I see one like this and realize I have a long way to go. Amazing stuff. I'm strictly a football guy but I love your collection Mark.

It's taken a lot of patience, kind of a lot of money, and a bit of luck. I got into it just before the oversized market dried up, and prices of the really early ones exploded. So I consider myself very lucky. That said, I actually enjoy many of the more common '50s and '60s versions just as much as the oldies. Especially all of the cool "Stadium" variations. Showdawg: That 1946 Brownie Pennant with the names might be my favorite Football Pennant of all. I don't have a ton of Football, but will try to post my best one in a few days. |

Yes- both are phenomenal. I love the Mean Brownie mascot. Things are so bad for the Browns right now... maybe they should put the Mean Brownie on their helmets (just for good luck!)
Tremendous collection... welcome aboard! |
