Hey Mike, I get a love/hate feeling when you post pictures. Didn't you say you were going to have a garage sale pretty soon? That Spalding trophy on your desk looks overwhelmed by everything else in the room, I could find a better place to display that for you!!

Hey Mike, amazing collection.
I love how it's displayed. I'm curious... If you don't mind me asking, what's your earliest item? Also, great bats... What's your best/favorite?? Thanks in advance for indulging me. Brent |

My earliest pieces are the gas lamps for 1878 (Hartford and Chicago) ![]() These Villeroy and dishes are from the 1880s. I have two plates and two tumblers from the set. ![]() ![]() ![]() Regarding bats. I love them, but have sold off many of the most valuable to fund other areas of my collection. My best (favorites now) are my mushroom knobs (Spalding and Pennant), ball knob (Piper), and a really long 1880s round knob (second from the right is this pic). Sorry I don't have pics of the Mushroom knobs at this moment. ![]()

Hey Mike,
Thanks for posting those. I've always loved the matched Hartford/Chicago figural pieces... And your Villeroy and Boch plates/tumblers are in amazing condition! Thanks for sharing! Brent |
