When you see things like this take a moment and really look at it and ask yourself a question. Why are the two gloves different

Just little things that make a difference.

You can buy this at the wholesale shops for $7.99 each in bails of 25

There are two for sale now on ebay, and one has a clear description that it's a fantasy piece. Doing a little research first, before jumping in on a piece you know nothing about, will save you some heartache. But no biggie - you took a shot and it didn't work out. At least it didn't cost you too much.

Is this the guy you bought it from? if so, the listing is still up or the guy has another (or many). It's not a BIN, so why the rush? why buy first and ask questions later?? anyway..live and learn.

You are all right. I did look but all I saw was terapeak. I do not have a subscription so I could not tell. I wanted to keep it either way so that's why I did not mind taking the risk as I felt it was a cool looking piece even for $100. I'm putting it right in my man cave OR on my desk at work. I got burned! haha it's okay. I've been keeping track and this year I made $2K in BAD purchases meaning I lost at a loss of 2098 but made gains of 2184 on purchases I have sold at a gain leaving me at a whopping profit of just under $90. Tis why I do not do this for a living lol. Focusing on JUST JACKIE has made collecting easier and A LOT more fun. Plus that is what it's all about. None of us are going to find the holy grail in all probability, but at the end of the day we are all going to die at one time or another so in the meantime as long as this hobby fills us with joy thats worth all the money in the world. AMEN! lol sorry for the rant.

Stephen, as many have stated in this thread alone, PLEASE, PLEASE do a little research on your end BEFORE coming on here and showing off your "prizes". This isn't meant to sound mean, and I apologize if it does, but Google is your friend

Sounds mean haha I swear I did google it. All that came up was Tera peak. I couldn't see what it sold for so figured 100 isn't terrible. Turns out it may be lol don't worry I know you mean it in a good way I'm just messing with you.

I came across this piece on eBay late one night. Quickly did some research and within minutes found a Net 54 thread debunking it. Wouldn't have been the first time I grabbed some very impressive looking piece of nonsense.

I thought you were focusing on Jackie now? What does Gehrig have to do with Jackie?

Well being from New York and living here and being brought up a Yankee fan I'll always have a sweet spot for the legends of NY. It wasn't too expensive and it touched me. I can't explain it. Certain thinks catch my eye. I did buy a 1949 all star stub today and a 54 all star photo pack Jackie if that helps lol

I still make some buying mistakes. If I am not making any mistakes I am not doing enough.
