I grew up there. I would go Salt Water Grille. Sit out on the deck go around sunset. I would then go front room. Also dimillios is great and they have stepped up their game.

It has now been 8 years so I can't remember a lot of details. What I do remember was that though I don't like seafood, I did enjoy the seafood there.

Thanks for all the replies.
We got to Dimillos and Holy Donut,, a few times to Holy Donut .
A few recommendations of my own:
Boda - Thai/tapas style - Congress St
Mi Sen - Thai Noodle restaurant- Congress St
Bull Finney - bar and restaurant, good burgers, good lobster rolls.
Chinese Restaurant next door to Longfellow House, great Dim Sum.
Cabot Cheddar - free samples .
and last but not least:
Gorgeous Gelato - Fore St.
