Finished the '58 set last month with 3 unremarkable cards, a very reasonable vintage set. The Brown rookie is a beater and needs an upgrade. Concentrating on finishing '62 Post (159/200), and continuing those darn '77 Mexicans (137/528). At my current rate, the '77 set may take 5 more years (minimum), and I'll probably cave on condition just to acquire some cards. Next to those 72 high numbers, it is one of the more challenging sets I have run across. Not impossible with unlimited funds, but not my situation. Best of luck and happy collecting, great to see the progress on your '72's

One of the few sets I've collected completely in the raw. The keyhole cards are not my favorite, but easy on the wallet. My set is G-VG/EX; with the exception of Unitas and Brown which are worse. I scanned these only for a template. Yes the bottoms are missing but I was looking for scuff/off coloring as is common in this issue, comparative decently centered cards, etc :

Nice '58 set Ty. Yeah, I agree that the '58's are prone to surface wear and poor picture clarity (1957 also). Good luck w/ the '77 Mexican set.

Nice, sharp Larry Brown Shawn. Is the rest of your set in similar shape? I'm 3 cards short (all hi #'s of course).

Finally have something to post I picked up a 1951 Bowman #90 Tony Canada that leaves me two cards left until my set is complete. This card "books" for $50 in NM, and I had to pay $10 plus $3 shipping or 26% full book. It has been tough to obtain as I am sure I was in competition with a bunch of Packers collectors.

Tony is one of six Packers to have their numbered retired. Pro Football HOF 1974. Missed some of the 1944 season and all of the 1945 season as he served in the Army.
