This was one of my wins. Don't know much about it, but it has great eye appeal to me. The reverse was addressed to someone in Ohio, and I'm driving to Ohio next week, so it was a sign!!! Nice too see that type cards and postcards are alive and doing very well! I'm in the zombie category along with others for staying up late.

Im happy to have won half the lots I bid on and the one I really wanted. Im afraid a Old Mill Cabinet is just out of my reach at this time. The Walters went way above my bid after the auction went into extended time.

A fine addition to my T210 Error collection.

I won a Home Run Kisses card and (3) couponed Zeenuts including the 1914 Barton. Great auction, a little something for everyone it seemed!

On a side note if anyone won the lot of 22 1912 zeenut cards I only needed one and would trade heavily in your favor for the card I need.

I had other reasons for being awake late, otherwise I would have bid earlier.

Cheers,

Just in case you missed my post about this postcard in another thread the player pictured here is not Guy W. Green, it's an unidentified player, I've been trying to identify him for years now with no luck as to his real name. There are two other cards in this series of postcards that I know of and they also say "Guy w. Green, mgr" on the front as well.

I believe the player shown on your postcard went by the name "Thorgy". He is second from left in the back row.

Here's an 8x10 photograph that was clearly the same photo used for the postcard.

Here are the other two postcards in this same series.

I won the 34 Goudey Authentic grade Gehrig, along with a few others. The eye appeal of the Gehrig was what sucked me in.

Default Consolation prize

I fell asleep with the high bid on 4 of the E98s I have been collecting. Woke up to find I just got the consolation prize and the other 3 went elsewhere.

I added the Zeenut Jimmy Zinn autograph to the Cleveland player stash. Has anyone been able to access their invoice yet??

Haven't collected e98s in years really although I still have my master set of commons. When I collected years back, a big deal was made about the Red Lajoie being brutally difficult, if not the toughest color variation in the set. Snagged me one in this auction....not sure if it's still considered a toughie or not. When I was collecting, I was primarily focused on the commons and didn't pay any attention to the HOFers
