Yep, there's no way that (gem) mint cards from 50 years ago could be hiding in an attic somewhere in Ohio. Only 100 year old cards are found there.

There might be a few 8s or better out there still raw. But I would guess a lot more than 50% of the high quality Ryans have been graded. Especially with today's standards that seem more strict.

There could be a truckload of them in a warehouse somewhere for all we know. That warehouse is probably in Ohio.

Sounds like I need to take a road trip to Ohio and start searching some warehouses.

I agree, but the '71 for sale on PWCC (psa 9) seems like it came out of nowhere. Has a recent flip and couldn't find previous sale. I would be a little suspicious to see a PSA 9 or 10 rookie Ryan show up from an attic..

1969 topps are not tough in high grades

1971 is a different animal

Probably a bump or SGC crossover.

68 9 ends at 72k. Wonder who drew the short straw.

Utterly insane! There must be a good # of similars out there. I think I'd rather have a Babe Ruth rookie.

Does a bump get a new cert #? and if so, what happens to the old cert #?

Is there a way to verify a card was bumped; or do you have to get lucky and find a prior sale at a lessor grade?
