The N403 "Yum Yum" card labeled as Cap Anson, actually pictures Ned Williamson.
Also, the N300 John Clarkson, while picturing John, shows him with St Louis. Thing is, John never played for St Louis, and retired after the 1894 season. His brother Dad Clarkson played for St Louis from 1893-1895. Steve

Contrary to what is indicated by this T210 card, this is not L.I. Mills. It is his Wilson teammate Miller who is also depicted with this same pose in the T209-II series.

Hi John
Here's a card not seen to often....an E104 Bris Lord. But of course, it's not really him, it's Sherry Magee (reverse image). ![]() Incidentally......both Magee and Lord have the following in common...... Born a year apart in countryside towns in Pennsylvania. Started their major league careers in BB in 1905 in Philadelphia. TED Z . |

This '56 Topps Aaron actully depicts Willie Mays sliding into home. Topps doctored the NY Giants uniform and air-brushed an "M" and a red bill on the cap.

At least five T206 cards show the wrong player: Art Kruger is really Otto Krueger, Bill Clymer is Otis Clymer, Lucky Wright is Eugene Wright, Bud Sharpe is Bill Hinchman, while Harry Hinchman is actually Bud Sharpe

Among game cards, there's the WG2 Fan Craze "Art Series" American League set, which mangles the names
of half a dozen players and then includes "Billy Owen, Boston." Thanks again to the fellows on board here who helped us solve his actual identity (and team) several years ago: http://baseballgames.dreamhosters.com/BillyOwen.htm

Tango eggs has Tinker listed as Weaver, Demmitt listed as Felsch, Doolan as Morgan, and one other that I can't think of right now (Jacklitsch?).
