That's good. I looked it up but it was not Rockne as I would have guessed.

Peter - I have remembered that one with a chuckle since reading a bio on Heisman years ago!

Another case of over-statement, perhaps-

That one I knew and yes, it's a wonderful quote. I think it was before the Harvard game. The Game as it is still called, although now that is beyond overstatement.

True. While I have three degrees I would have probably never been allowed to even look around an Ivy campus. I do love the Ivy League though. No level of college football is pure or probably ever has been but I want to think that they do things a little better than most?
