trades have logistics..id rather just have an agreed price and you can trade your item for money and trade the money for the card...

Goodwin has been getting record prices, and he charges no seller's comission.

Fair enough, and quick response. I actually edited to make the offer private about a minute after posting. It was 7,500 originally for the Clemente though.

maybe the key is to make an asking price,, then to remove it....seems like than people want to pay asking price...

Not at this time. I decided to hold that for a while. I don't blame you for doing the same. The 55 Clemente has been almost as hot as the mantles lately and doesn't appear to be slowing down yet.

right so why correct me on the price if you still arent going to sell it at your original asking price...that was my point..you not selling at your prior asking price a month ago..and neither am in on a price from 5 months ago....funny you had to correct the number...

I corrected the price because the one you mentioned was incorrect. If I posted in another thread about the banks you were selling for 3,500 I believe you would have done the same.

i wouldnt have dont it like that..my point was you werent going to sell your card at list price which i thought was 7000...you than mentioned it was 7500 which made it look like that could be selling it at list price to prove me wrong

so i then offered 7500 to you in a pm..and you said you arent selling it at that price....so again that was my point...whether it was 7500 or 7000, you not selling it at your asking price a month ago

if you would of said my list price was 3500 and i wouldnt sell it at that price, if i corrected you and said it was 3750, i would of then said, and i woudnt sell it at 3750 either.....you left it open in the air so i made sure it wasnt to close the matter and prove my point..

I thought it was clear. I removed the price from that thread and stated I intended to keep the card. And your offer was in an on going discussion after I told you I wasn't selling.

it wasnt clear on the thread at issue ..people dont always check past other threads. If not for sale, no need to correct a past asking price anyway..

Fair enough, both nice cards though. Good luck with your sale or auction.

The BST used to be a place where the only replies were bump, sold, PM sent, or the occasional nice card.

No I think the Banks RC is one of those cards that may stay hot for a while. It may even go up from here.
