There is a beauty to the beaters - and that's got it! Gotta love the back of that card, since it has a newspaper date of 1923 and they were not given the Four Horsemen moniker until 1924
New York Herald Tribune, 18 October 1924 Grantland Rice Outlined against a blue-gray October sky, the Four Horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore they are known as Famine, Pestilence, Destruction and Death. These are only aliases. Their real names are Stuhldreher, Miller, Crowley and Layden. They formed the crest of the South Bend cyclone before which another fighting Army football team was swept over the precipice at the Polo Grounds yesterday afternoon as 55,000 spectators peered down on the bewildering panorama spread on the green plain below. Nice snag, Larry. Sometimes all of that diligence pays off with a find. And this is one of them.

A signed program by Don Steinbrunner (April 5, 1932–July 20, 1967) who was one of only two American professional football players to die in the Vietnam War.

I thought this RPPC was interesting in that it is an integrated college team in 1909:
