There is a beauty to the beaters - and that's got it! Gotta love the back of that card, since it has a newspaper date of 1923 and they were not given the Four Horsemen moniker until 1924

Nice examples of this card eBay BIN $40-$45 so I would place the "full book" price for this card at $2. The dealer probably did not even know what card he was placing in the .25c bin, all he saw was a torn up 1954 scoops card. Plus sometimes I do get "lucky" LOL!

Thanks for posting this Rev, the other player was Bob Kalsu and its appears neither had a regular football card. It was worth taking the time to google search these guys with Memorial Day closely approaching.
