The Expos logo brings be back to my baseball loving youth, having grown up in Montreal. As kids, we would go to 20 odd games a year. Jarry Park was about a 90 minute journey one way (bus, subway, subway, and bus). We would hang around the street, and I'd have a transistor radio, listening to the games as we would hang. At night, I would listen to the games when I was supposed to be asleep.

One of my favorite memories as a 13-14 year old punk was going to a ball game at Jarry Park (a glorified minor league park) one Friday night. There were four of us. After the game, we hid in a bathroom until the place emptied. We then went onto the field, with only the floodlights on. We pretended to hit balls and run the bases for about an hour. I cannot tell you how we got home, but it was obviously pretty late, as there were no more busses coming to the stadium.

When I told my kids that story, they remarked how they could never get away with that today.

My moniker, Stampsfan, is my eBay ID, having joined in 1998 or so. Now living in Calgary, our local CFL team is called the Stampeders. Been a season ticket holder since I moved here in 1980. Not all of us are hockey nuts in Canada... some of us are more passionate about baseball and football, including our little league up here.

My moniker is my first initial of my first name and then my last name. My avatar is Zach Wheat. Zach was born in my hometown and I have collected his items for over 30 years. The image is a wire photo I have that is one of my favorite of him.

It's way too small for my eyes to see but if I were to guess, I'd say Jimmy Page?

My moniker is not paying homage to Dwight Evans.

Avatar is from a painting of Jackie Robinson by John Barrett. Got it about 12 years ago. Saw it. Liked it. Started my Jackie Robinson oriented collecting.

Moniker is the grad school I attended (Stetson University in Deland, FL) and the year it was founded.

Avitar is because I'm a black metal fan and worship Satan.

My moniker is a combination of my three kids names and my ebay user name.

My avatar is a Veeck jersey and his wooden leg. I've owned an example of the Veeck jersey and sold it years ago. The leg was sold in 1999 and is now being used as a trophy for a fantasy baseball league.

My avatar is Al Schacht, The Clown Prince of Baseball, in his trademark battered top hat with a crazed look on his face as captured by photographer George Burke. Graig Kreindler was kind enough to render him in color for me a few years ago, which transformation I captured in an animated gif, but unfortunately the file size is too big for my avatar. It does show work on my About Me page though.

My moniker is a jazz-era phrase for something that is the best of its kind, of high quality and the height of fashion. You know, cool. Which I'm obviously not, as proven by my choice of obscure and outdated phraseology.

Tripredacus is a faction from the late 90s "cartoon" Beast Wars: Transformers. The avatar is Ravage, taken from a 2000s comic book cover for Transformers by Dreamwave. Related in name only.

I am big into Transformers, and that is the handle/avatar combination I try to use everywhere.

I thought it was "trepidatious"

My avatar is one of my fave poses on any pre-war card, of course.
