Well, David, it always struck me as a bit odd, too, since I doubt Pressley could have stretched his arm underneath Pritchard to re-emerge on the other side. Plastic Man was 30+ years from being introduced. I'm afraid it's the old "pose-the-glove-and-ball-next-to-the-players" ruse to make the photo seem like a real tag.
But, these guys were Class C minor leaguers so anything was possible! Cheers, Mike
