Excuse me while I resurrect this thread for everyone who missed it the last time. I can get it down to 20 if I limit it to the rock genre, broadly defined.
Ok Computer -- Radiohead Abbey Road -- The Beatles Little Earthquakes -- Tori Amos The Wall -- Pink Floyd Takk -- Sigur Ros Aqualung -- Jethro Tull Wincing the Night Away -- The Shins Goodbye Yellow Brick Road -- Elton John Animals -- Pink Floyd Lateralus -- Tool The Beatles -- The Beatles Physical Graffiti -- Led Zeppelin Boys for Pele -- Tori Amos Aenima -- Tool Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness -- Smashing Pumpkins Ten -- Pearl Jam The Bends -- Radiohead Wish You Were Here -- Pink Floyd Funeral -- Arcade Fire Begin to Hope -- Regina Spektor |

When I was dating my now wife, she couldn't understand how I enjoyed Sigur Ros so much as their lyrics are either Icelandic or made up. She then accompanied me to a show during Hvarf/Heim and she completely flipped her script. Hoppípolla was played at our wedding. Your list is pretty close. I might swap The Bends for In Rainbows, White Album for Revolver, and add Death Cab's Transatlanticism somewhere but that's about it. If you'd have told me I'd spend my 1,000th post 10 years ago talking about Sigur Ros I'd laugh at you, but here we are. Happy Collecting Steven Finley
