Album removal is the glue stain on the back left which I have a close up picture of. Do you see paper loss in the photo?

REA says there is a crease, however faint.

"An extremely faint horizontal crease is visible under close inspection in the lower quarter of the card. It is very hard to see and is not at all distracting because it is overshadowed by all the great qualities this card has to offer."

Either you or REA are wrong. My bet is on REA being right..unless the crease got taken out.

It is in the same holder so the crease is still there and the reason why I posted the link to the auction. Just thought any perspective buyer should know what was known the last time this was offered. Knowing now there is a crease you can see where it is in his images.

U state it has a slight glue stain that's why it's graded a 2. It actually seems to me that it was graded a 2 because it has a slight glue stain AND A LIGHT CREASE.

Why only mention the glue and then assume people will check the link to discover the crease? Because u know people will see the glue and ask about it anyway or that u know people view glue on the reverse as a lesser flaw than a crease on the front. I think it's deceptive to reveal one flaw and not the other when u r trying to get more than the usual value for a graded card. Either simply offer the card as a 2 or give full descriptive disclosure. Id be pissed if I paid a premium for this card then received it with an additional flaw than expected.

First off I am not trying deceive anyone. If there is a crease in the card I can't see it. Second I can care less if I sell this card on this board. I posted the card for sell since I know there are a lot of die hard collectors of T206's on this board. I would rather sell to a collector then a dealer. I am planning to attend the National and was going to use the funds for that show. I am only selling this card since my interest has changed and I am looking to buy a high grade Jordan rookie. I have shown this card to a couple of dealers and they could not see why the card was graded a 2 until I pointed out the glue on the back. I was offered $1600 from both dealers which I turned down. They both said if this was their card they would crack and resubmit. It is clear this card has outstanding eye appeal and it would be almost impossible to find a better looking card for $2000. I would guarantee if you are looking for a nice T206 Red Cobb for that price range you would be more then satisfied with this card. Most likely I will not sell this card before the National and if anyone wants to see the card in person just send me a PM the week of the show and we can meet up.

Did you win the card in the REA auction or acquire it later?

I repeat why point out the glue and not the crease?

You can't point something out that you can't see! I am no longer going to sell this card on the board and will keep it until the National. I will let the card speak for itself whoever wants to see it. FYI I turned down an offer of $1800 from another board member. I sent him a PM and we will meet at the National so he can see the card in person so I won't be accused of hiding anything. I will be curious to see if he sees the crease. Oh yea auction houses never get anything wrong. lol
