I need to check if the Bulls in their big year lost to such a bad team records wise. Plus 2 losses at home now by G.S....still super team but we talking about comparing them to that Bulls team......

73 won't happen...no way they beat the Spurs in San Antonio.

The Warriors lose to the Timberwolves in overtime, 124-117.

They have lost their last 2 of 3 at Oracle.

4 games left, two with San Antonio.
They Host the Spurs on Thursday night.

I would of said no way the T-Wolves win yesterday at Golden State..especially that G.S. had lost a game not long ago

Too much obsession with 73. Who cares really? It's all about the championship.

Jordan, that's why. People talk about Bird's winning teams and Magic's too. Who was on Houston?

Houston did win back to back championships at at time where many people today watched them so its not like we are talking about a team in the 40s...akeem and drexler both in the Hall of Fame...they were a 6th seed one year..if they had won 73 games in one of those seasons, you cant say we wouldnt be talking about them.....or if you don tthink anyone on G.S. is as good as Jordon and Bird and that team would be like Houston (both winning back to back champs, but noone like Jordan etc) because no big players...thats my point...win 73 games and people will talk about them a loot more than 72 wins -- 20 years from now if thats still the record..

73: unlikely, perhaps, but NOT impossible...Popovich's belief in resting key players for the playoffs may (or may not) be the determining factor.

ETA - great seasons for both teams - will be fun to watch if both teams are at full-strength these last two head-to-head match-ups and in a 7-game series as well.

The Warriors are the second team in NBA History to reach 70 wins.

The Warriors with a win over San Antonio.

3 games to go, one in San Antonio, where they have not lost all year.
