Fantastic stuff, even the designs I'm not too excited about. At least they're really well done. So many of the big company cards look like they started out great and ended up with the employees in design thinking "only 200 more and I'm finally through with the series 1 set!"
I'm very curious how you do the various foils/refractors etc? from what I can see, either you really do the foiling, or have a really impressive printer. One of the guys that does bicycle repro decals has a printer that will print solid white and will also print onto foil. But it cost him close to 30K. I think at some point many of the better custom cards will become very collectible. They're more art than cards, and few are produced in any quantity. Steve B |

![]() ![]() I think we are already at the point where customs are collectible. Not necessarily for everyone, but there are people who have sacrificed thousands of dollars of "real" cards to make customs for their own collections. I think from here on out, there will be more and more people who will enjoy the customs and appreciate them. Just recently, I showed off some work to a guy who thought customs were stupid/ridiculous. After talking showing him some stuff, he is now seriously putting some thought into sacrificing some of his high-end autos to get some work done ![]()

I make way lower end stuff than the OP but Tanner is the reason I make stuff. After I got my first card from him I made it my goal to figure out how it was done. After a lot of trial and error I have been able to make some really cool stuff.

I'm not much of a modern collector and I don't have a single Canseco, but I can really appreciate these creations. You are taking baseball card collecting to an entirely different level. I would not be surprised if we hear about you taking a job at Fleer, Upper Deck, etc. in the next year or two.
