As a collector, this just makes me sad. I hate that something so innocent from my childhood has turned into this.
I am not in any way chiding the OP and actually agree with him 100% but I can't help but shake my head that people can't just buy, sell and enjoy anymore. This isn't the first crazy buyer/seller story and won't be the last but makes me second guess why I don't collect My Little Pony like my 5-year-old daughter. She still smiles overtime she gets one.
