I've always admired him and yes he is definitely a minor star to star but I think that his ERA of over 4 will do him in. I love the fact that he hit the most HRs of any pitcher (minus Babe of course) but he did so while he was still pitching games so that is cool. The fact that he has a "no hitter" is cool.

Fairly short 14 year career (unless you compare him to average Joe MLB average of 5.6 years) also hurts him I think. Not sure he will ever get in. Just my 2 cents.

Lefty O'Doul is in the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame, though many seem to call him a HoFer on eBay. Guess they're not lying.

Adolfo Luque is in the Cuban Baseball HOF. Jack Quinn, although not quite HOF caliber, was a good pitcher for a very long time. I mean he even has a card in the T206 set.

I'm not sure about what type of careers they had, but the Paul Richards and Dibrell Williams cards are two of my favorite looking Prewar cards.
