Craig and Johnny
Both the backs of the UZIT and the PIEDMONT 42 cards have varying intensities of blue ink. American Litho. (ALC) printed these 2 backs concurrently at the tail end of the T206 press runs (circa Feb-Mar 1911). At the same time ALC was starting up their Gold-bordered sports & non-sports cards. There- fore, it's possible that the printers just did a sloppy job in the application of blue ink on the final run of these T206's.  .   TED Z . Last edited by tedzan; 03-13-2016 at 07:09 AM.
