Love the Boggs AS bat, even though it isn't the one he hit his HR with, but how about the packaging?? Thanks, Mile High!

I'd be p*ssed, as I assume you are, but talk about rubbing salt in the wound by not acknowledging you!

Default Vintage Draper and Maynard ball cone display

I recently added this D & M vintage cone shaped ball display to provide an interesting way to show my Vander Meer endorsed circa 1939 ball.

The ball, original box and display are all toughees. Great complimentary pieces that belong together!

Wow! That is about as careless as it gets. Thankfully it arrived at all.

Looks like Mile "High" has been hitting the Wacky Tobaccy hard since they made pot legal in CO.

I have had pool cues arrive with weird packaging like that, and it turned out that it had been opened and then 're-sealed' by the USPS. In one case two one-piece pool cues were sticking out the end of the tube, one with the end of the cue cracked off and no longer present. I had done business with the guy before, so I knew it wasn't his packaging.

On the other hand, I recently had a $450 baseball bat arrive from a large auction house, simply bouncing about in a box.

Now, when a customer sends detailed packing instructions, I understand their fears.

Default I friggin' LOVE February!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy Cow!!!!! I NEVER thought in my wildest dreams that I would add something like this to my Joe DiMaggio collection!!!!

Quick thanks to my girlfriend, who stopped at the post office for me (I work too late to get there), and signed for it.

I have to make sure I clarify that it is not a real gamer. The seller said that Whitey and Mickey used to run a fantasy camp back in the '80s, and it is likely that it came from that. He had a Mantle companion jersey for sale with a similar inscription, and I was able to photo match that to Mick at fantasy camp in about 1 minute on Google, so I took the chance on Joe (I thought about Mick, but unfortunately, couldn't afford both).

But I don't care, because I got the jersey that Whitey got right off Joe's back!

Thank god she didn't surprise you and wash it for you, "honey, I got that ink right out."

Default Tiger Catchers

A co-worker who collects WWII aircraft photos bought a collection and found this baseball photo in the stack. He knew I collect Tiger items and gave it to me.
