Thought i would share this picture and ticket i recently got framed...
The stub and picture are both from July 14, 1948...
It was an exhibition game at Cleveland Stadium...Dodgers vs Indians...
The photo is a Type 1 also so i thought it would be cool to frame them up together...

That display looks great Andy! As a ticket and vintage photo collector, I love the idea of displaying them together.

Default New York Rangers Stanley Cup strip 1994

With the Rangers playing so well I thought it was time to show this one again.

Long time reader, first time poster.
This thread is amazing, to say the least!
I've been a Mets fan since 1968 and am an active '69 Mets collector.
Here are some of my favorite tickets/stubs:

Game 5 stub from the 1969 World Series.
I was at this game as a 9 year old Mets fan and even ran the bases after the last out.

Game three of their sweep of the Braves in '69 that took them to the series.

Full ticket and stub from the game where the Mets clinched the pennant in 1969. This was, at one time, the highest attended game in their history so I really don't think there are too many of the full tickets out there. The condition of the full ticket was not a consideration due to the rarity and significance in Mets history.

I recently picked up this Connie Mack ticket from August 4 1944 for $40. It has some stains and creases. There's a somewhat similar pre-season Connie Mack Day ticket from April 5 1944 that also seems to sell in the $40-60 range. I'd like to pick up an April 5th ticket if anyone has one available.

"Possession of this card is proof" that the bearer was there to see Hank Aaron's 500th home run.

I had to laugh, knowing that you can buy "I was there" items on the collector's market. RIP to bragging rights obtained through the possession of ticket stubs.

Of course, if you plan to, er, misbehave in such a manner, don't be stupid and claim you were at a game that took place before you were born.
