Hope this isn't seen as a hijack, but if there is one in Orange County, CA would appreciate the info.

For that matter, is there any organization or type of organization (hospital, chronically ill kids camp, etc) nationally that is known to take donations of cards?

Anybody know of a nonprofit doing good things with baseball card donations in the Portland, Ore. area? Even including up to Seattle...

This guy in Kentucky does good work. You'd have to ship them but well worth it IMO.

Thanks! That's a good lead, although I'm holding out hope to find something locally so I can offer some elbow grease besides the donations.
