Default It can be

I wanted to move into my first house (city boy) containing no windows and a stairway so I could hang a few things. My wife chose one with all windows and no stairway. I have over 200 hanging pieces and 10+ showcases. My wife hates me.......

Default January additions

I picked up these cool 1965 Milwaukee Braves promo bats for my Joe Torre collection.
I also bought this Joe DiMaggio photo from the Mears auction, thinking I was getting a vintage 1934-36 photo of him in the PCL. What I got was this RIDICULOUS poster sized photo of Joe D.
I have no idea where I am going to put it.

You could use the RIDICULOUS poster to wrap around the beautiful ED Mathews bat to help protect it during shipping. Expensive packing material but for a good cause.

I added the Ed Mathews bat to my collection. Thanks Sean.

I can't say this is a pick up but I saw one of these on ebay, an original I assume (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Country-Stor...4AAOSwmrlUtLaU). I decided to make my own with a twist. I made mine into a storage box for my flats. Looks like the original box but turn it around and it has 5 pull out drawers. Tip Tops are my favorite cards so I think it's pretty neat.

1908 lithograph titled 'Three Men on Base' by Edward Penfield. This image originally was in the Colliers Weekly from April 26, 1902. Six years later it was made available by Colliers although I don't know the exact purpose. In 1911, it would also serve as the cover for the Book of Baseball.

The second item is a Daily Graphic woodcut from 1873 showing a very young Cap Anson. I believe this is the earliest woodcut of Anson but could be wrong.
