I found a "Who's Who In Baseball" book from the 1930's signed by Walter Big Train Johnson and plenty other Cleveland Indians at an estate sale for $1. It was also signed by announcers and other people related to the team and was clearly authentic. I was hard up at the time and had no mind for collecting and put it up for bid on ebay and it only sold for just over $600... Lesson learned! I posted it here when I found it.

Makes me wonder how much the 1940 Who's Who with 5 HoF signatures on it, amongst a number of other players, is worth. I picked it up for $7.50 at an estate sale.

It is worth more than people will pay, hold on to it.; )

The Walter Johnson auto I sold was tipped into another book. I found it for sale on ebay, it was certainly my Johnson. You can tell it is my Johnson because it is a little deformed (the pen ran out of ink).

Were facsimile signed balls around back then? The signatures look too even and proportionate to me to be real.

I worry about some of those sigs look to be crashing into the stitch line, but the ink is still smooth.
I would think it might be facsimile?
