So, now that the cat is out of the bag, Hinchman served in the military, attaining the rank of Colonel. After his baseball days, he changed his name to Sanders, moved to Kentucky, and started selling fried chicken. He was always angry not to have appeared on a Yum Yum card, so now the parent company is just called Yum! That card was from his personal collection.
Purely hypothetical.
