I always knew that E104-1s with Nadja backs were rare, but I only recently realized how rare they really were. I purchased this Plank from the Luckey collection and when I started doing some additional research on the issue, I could not find another example of Plank. There were plenty of blank backed cards out there, but none with the Nadja advertising on the back. I am sure that others exist, but I have not been able to put my finger on another.

Wow, you pre-war guys are nailing the coffin shut here. Heck i dont even know a lot of those guys, other than looking in the recent addition threads.
I guess my rare one, is just a hard one that seldom comes up for sale much with a low pop: [IMG] [/IMG]

Great pickup. I picked that up in a Lipset auction sometime around 15 yrs ago. I think it went for around 450, Lew commented it was a low price and I wholeheartedly agreed. Even at the price you got it I think it was a good buy. In all my (20ish) years I have seen 1 other plank with nadja back and it was totally beat. Quan has seen it too, I believe. One other was mentioned in the write up also and it's the same one just mentioned. I don't remember anything else....but always knew there was at least one more. I would guess there might be another, somewhere, but it's super rare and really neat, in my book. Congrats.. Any of these cards are rare.....
