Graig's work is the best. Very nice of your friends, and a wonderful painting of Mr. Plank.

BIG & small

The first piece I bought because I liked the way it looked framed. Just thought the framer did a nice job with the fabric on the mat and inset gold edging.

I also enjoy buying items, then framing myself with an inexpensive frame. I found this Lajoie supplement and paired it with a vintage looking frame.

These next two small items are some of my favorite pieces in my collection. I had been looking for a PM1 for a while and was fortunate to have acquired the seldom-seen Wagner. The Lajoie is a scorer from 1912.

I loved this Koufax photo when I saw it, and I loved it even more when it became mine. Here he is shortly after signing his first professional contract:

Hello- I rarely share my collection. This is a great opportunity to show two of my favorites. I'll be having them restored lightly. I enjoy the vintage patina.

Too many Lajoie items. What are you doing, hoarding them?

What a great thread. Every one is gorgeous, but I'm partial to Bob's Tuxedo Tobacco piece. I used to have a replica in my old office, and unfortunately left it there when I vacated. Maybe someday I'll find a real one.

Rob,

It's only because Wagner items are so expensive. You still have the best Lajoie collection hands down.

Probably my 1906 White Sox Championship mirror

But since I'm a Cubs fan I gotta go with this!
